League

1. Eligibility and Handicap Requirements

1.1. Eligibility: To participate in the Swing Lounge League, you must hold a valid HNA (Handicap Network Africa) handicap. If you do not possess an HNA handicap, you will play off a standard handicap of 18.

1.2. Handicap Verification: All handicaps will be verified by the league organizers through the HNA app. Participants must provide proof of their HNA handicap when requested.

2. Competition Format

2.1. Order of Merit: The league will operate on an Order of Merit system. Points will be allocated based on each player’s net score after every round. The specific point allocation system will be provided before the league begins and set depending on how many entries the league has.

2.2. Scoring: Points are awarded based on net scores (gross score minus handicap). Details of the point distribution will be communicated at the start of the league.

2.3. Rounds: Each month, participants will play 2 rounds of 18 holes. The courses to be played will be announced at the beginning of each month. Players may schedule their rounds at times that suit them, within the month.

3. Ties and Disputes

3.1. Ties: In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by a count-out system. If a count-out does not resolve the tie, a free round will be awarded to determine the winner. The format and details of the free round will be decided by the league organizers.

3.2. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes or issues not specifically addressed by these Terms & Conditions will be resolved by the league organizers. Decisions made by the organizers are final.

4. Fees and Prizes

4.1. Entrance Fee: The entrance fee to participate in the Swing Lounge League is R800. This fee must be paid before the start of the league.

4.2. Prizes: Prizes will be awarded based on performance and standings in the league. Details of the prizes will be announced as the league progresses.

5. Conduct

5.1. Fair Play: Participants are expected to compete fairly and with sportsmanship. Unsportsmanlike behavior or rule violations may result in disqualification from the league.

5.2. Rules Compliance: Players must adhere to the official rules of golf and any additional rules set forth by the Swing Lounge League. Non-compliance may lead to penalties or disqualification.

6. Modifications and Updates

6.1. Changes to Terms: The Swing Lounge League reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions.

6.2. Updates: The league organizers will provide updates regarding changes to the league format, rules, or schedule as needed.

7. Liability

7.1. Limitation of Liability: The Swing Lounge League and its organizers are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage incurred by participants during league play or related activities.

7.2. Insurance: Participants are encouraged to obtain personal insurance to cover any potential risks associated with their participation in the league.
